We’ll be at the Annual Conference of the German Society for Biomaterials (DGBM) together with CELLINK
We will meet at the Centre for Regenerative Therapies of TU Dresden, located close to the historic city centre and the medicine campus in Dresden Johannstadt. The conference will start with the Young Scientist Event, organised independently by the YFS of the DGBM, on Wednesday, October 8th.
The scientific programme will open on Thursday, October 9th and ends on Saturday, October 11th . The conference will be a unique opportunity for exchanging the newest results of biomaterial-related research in Germany and abroad.
Topics of the Conference
The conference covers all topics related to biomaterials research and applications, including synthesis and characterisation of biomaterials and implants (metals, ceramics, polymers, hydrogels and composites etc.), functionalisation of biomaterials, release of bioactive ions, drugs and growth factors, scaffolds for tissue engineering applications, biofabrication and bioprinting, tissue and organ models including organ-on-a-chip systems (e.g. for drug testing), in vitro and in vivo models for evaluation of biomaterials and tissue engineering constructs, clinical applications of biomaterials and implants, strategies for preventing/curing infections, immunological aspects of biomaterials, as well as ML- and AI-based systems in biomaterials research.
